Aggregate lathe [`æɡ.rɪ.ɡət `leɪð ] (machine) is a metal cutting lathe consisting of aggregates that are not kinematically connected to each other (so-called power heads). The interdependence and sequence of aggregates movement is usually provided by a single control system.
