Acid resistance

Acid resistance /ˈæsɪd rɪˈzɪstəns/ – the ability of materials (usually minerals) to resist the effects of acids.  Property K of metallic materials is determined by the loss of mass per unit surface area, i.e. g/(m2 h).  Mirrors are determined, for example, by the material’s swelling or change in mass (in %) after processing the material k.
