Carbothermy

Carbothermy /kɑːˈbɒθəˌrmi/ (Latin Carbo – coal and Greek theme of heat).  Coal heating – methods for reducing metal oxides with carbon.  K. is carried out on the basis of the blast furnace process.  In non-ferrous metallurgy, a significant part of lead, tin, zinc and other metals are obtained using carbothermy.
