Dolerite

Dolerite /ˈdɒləˌraɪt/  (from the Greek doleros – deceptive) is the main cenotype igneous rock, consisting of plagioclase (from bytownite to andesine), monoclinic pyroxene, olivine, titanomagnetite.

Ex. The dolerite has been used successfully as aggregate for surfacing tarmac roads and as concrete aggregate.
