Electrothermy /ɪˈlɛktrəʊˌθɜrmi/ – (electro and Greek. therme-heat) is a field of electrical engineering that includes the use of electrical energy for heating and melting products and materials. It is widely used in industry, especially in metallurgy (Electrometallurgy), construction, medicine and other fields.
