Indium – /ˈɪndiəm/ (from the nil (indigo) color of the spectral line) is a chemical element, symbol Jn (lat. Jndinm), atomic number -49, atomic mass – 114.82. It is a white soft metal that melts easily and is a rare element. It is used to glue glass to metal.
