Migmatite

Migmatite /ˈmɪɡməˌtaɪt/ (from the Greek migma, gender migmatos – mixture) is a rock, a mixture of igneous material with relict material of metamorphic rocks. It is formed during incomplete magmatic replacement of metamorphic rocks of various compositions at high stages of metamorphism, when a magmatic melt permeates the rock it replaces.
