Protective materials

Protective materials /prəˈtɛktɪv məˈtɪriəlz/ – materials used to protect against ionizing rays. It is not so difficult to protect against the flow of charged particles, because their path is very small in all materials, so the concept of shielding materials is used only for neutron X-ray radiation.

Ex. Miners rely on a range of protective materials such as hard hats, safety goggles, and reinforced gloves to ensure their safety while working in the challenging and sometimes hazardous conditions of mining sites.
